Is Acai Juice safe during pregnancy?
My husband is Brazilian (Acai comes from Brazil) and he says there pregnant woman drink it all the time because it’s so healthy and has a lot of vitamins in it, (we always have it in the house, he loves it) however here in the US many people drink it to lose weight, it’s never made me lose weight but for some I guess it works. I’ve been researching it and it says on many discussion boards not to drink it while pregnant but I can’t find any real research on it…Anybody know anything?
“Generally all energy drinks are safe to be used by pregnant women until unless their Acai products contain caffeine, caffeine is something that could lead to some serious birth and other problems during pregnancy. One good news for pregnant women is that Acai helps them to provide enough protein when their needs for protein during pregnancy increase by almost 30%. So my advice is that whenever you go to buy an Acai juice just check the labels and go with the Acai juice that does not have Caffeine.. On the whole Acai juice is safe for you and will not cause any side effects for you and for your new comer…
One more phenomena about Acai juice is that it does not contribute directly to the weight loss, it just makes your body tom burn fats quickly and provide sufficient energy… for better weight loss results you need a balanced diet plan and some exercise with the Acai juice”

All natural berry juice should be just fine for you to drink while you are pregnant.

The Acai berry is widely used in antioxidant supplements and antioxidant drinks, and now it’s available in the US by using acai berry in the most versatile, nutritious and absorbable form available, a highly nutritious supplemental beverage.
