Does Acai juice lead to Diarrhea?

I never get this issue and this morning I tried some raspberry Acai juice by Tropicana and well…cramps galore, very painful and several trips to the bathroom… The only thing I can think of I have done differently is the Acai juice.

Is Acai Juice safe during pregnancy?

My husband is Brazilian (Acai comes from Brazil) and he says there pregnant woman drink it all the time because it’s so healthy and has a lot of vitamins in it, (we always have it in the house, he loves it) however here in the US many people drink it to lose weight, it’s never made me lose weight but for some I guess it works. I’ve been researching it and it says on many discussion boards not to drink it while pregnant but I can’t find any real research on it…Anybody know anything?
